Q: I upgraded my XP
installation to Vista Premium, but after the upgrade
Vista was very buggy. So, I decided to follow the
instructions here:

Now, I am not
able to activate the installation. It says that the
"key" is in use. I called the phone number displayed,
but after following all of the steps, I still am unable
to activate the installation. How am I supposed to
activate this?
A: When you call the phone number, you did right by
following all of the steps in there. However, if you
still have trouble activating, just stay on the line and
you will be connected to a human. The person will
ask you a few questions and then issue a code to
activate your installation. The whole process doesn't take
very long.
