Q: I just purchased a computer with Vista Premium loaded on it. I am trying to get the weather gadget to change its default location (Redmond) to my home town. I can't seem to get it to switch. Can you help?

A: Sure, here's how I did it:

1. Right click the Weather gadget.
2. Select Options.
3. In the resulting "Search" box, enter your 5 digit zip code and then click the Find icon. It should automatically switch to your location now.
4. If that didn't work, try searching for just the town name. It will bring up a list of options to choose from. The first item on the list will be highlighted. If this highlighted item is your home town, you will still need to click on it to select it.
5. Click the OK button when done.
