If you have frequently used programs that you would like to run at boot. You can place these programs in to the Start Menu folder. Here's how:

All Users:

To access the Start Menu folder for "All Users" it is located here:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

User Specific:

To access the "user specific" Start Menu folder:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu
